Bred Heifers
Again this year we brought our bred heifers in and Grandpa showed up just in time to help sort. He asked “how long
will this take?” and I responded that it shouldn’t take too long since we only had to sort out five (It was a cold windy
afternoon). Well, it ended up taking over an hour and a half to pick these five out. That hour seemed pretty quick to
me knowing that since last year’s sale we knew we were going to have to offer our top end again and every time I’ve
been around this group of replacements since last spring I had been thinking about which heifers to sell. We picked
the top end of the group while trying to represent different sire groups. I don’t like to sell our best heifers but here
they are.
RETAINING THE RIGHT TO A SUCCESSFUL FLUSH OF AT LEAST 6 TRANSFERABLE EGGS ON ALL 5 OF THESE BREDS.
These heifers along with the commercials have been ultrasound pregnancy tested to determine calving dates. All five
of these heifers were called safe AI by the technician, but he can’t guarantee that to us, therefore we can’t guarantee
that to you, but we stand behind our cattle so let us know if there is a problem.

1001 was the first calf born and it was nice to find a little Bob heifer to start the season.
She has grown into a tremendous cow prospect having plenty of body, length and
pigment. She is one of the few if not the only polled Bob heifer among her group. Her
mother is massive in her build and deep in her body. Due 2/17 to UPS Domino 3027.
