Sale Location
The sale will be held at the ranch sale facility near St. Anthony, N.D.,
located approximately 30 miles from Bismarck/Mandan, N.D. From Man-
dan, go 19 miles south on Highway 6 until County Road 135. There, turn
left (east) and follow the gravel road for 5 miles to the ranch and sale site.
(
The county road will bend, so, of those 5 miles, 3 miles will be east, 1 mile
will be south and the remaining mile will be east.)
Transportation
Bismarck is serviced by several major airlines. Private planes are also
served at the Mandan airport.
Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Seven Seas Hotel & Waterpark

advantage of the discounted rate of $95 plus tax. The Seven Seas features
a steakhouse, lounge and swimming pool, and is located just off Interstate
Highway 94.

Retained Interest
Ellingson Angus is retaining a third semen interest in all bulls, half interest
in Lot 119 and Lot 120 and half possession in Lot 38.
Guarantee
These animals have been managed carefully to ensure your success. The
cattle are guaranteed to be fertile and reproductively sound in accordance
with the recommendations of the American Angus Association. The bulls
left for later delivery will have a semen evaluation before delivery.

tives. We will handle your bid like you would if you were sitting in the
stands yourself. Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed. Our sale will

Genetic Testing
All cattle in the sale that are suspect by pedigree for any known genetic
defects have been determined free by DNA testing. Lots 4, 6, 8, 18, 21,

A, 28, 33, 41, 44, 46, 50, 52, 54, 57, 77, 80 and 93 have had the Pfizer 50K
analysis. Lot 102 has an Igenity profile.
Performance Data
The performance information, with the exception of the 365-day weights,
have been calculated through the Angus Herd Improvement Records
(
AHIR) program of the American Angus Association and are official num-
bers from the organization’s Sire Summary (as of Dec. 10, 2012). At the
time of printing, most of the bulls didn’t fit the age parameters to process
adjusted yearling weights through AHIR. Projected yearling weights
noted were calculated using the American Angus Association’s yearling
weight formula. There will be a supplement sheet available on sale day
with ultrasound data and scrotal measurements.
Health
Dr. Pat Bierman of Mandan Veterinary Clinic will be on hand to write
interstate health certificates for those requiring them. All cattle have had a
complete vaccination program.
Delivery
We are offering free delivery on all bulls within a 500-mile radius and to
Canadian points-of-entry on Canadian-purchased bulls. For bulls going
beyond 500 miles and for all females, we will help coordinate delivery to
get the cattle to you as economically as we can.
Feeding Arrangements
We are offering free keep on the bulls until April 1, after which time we
will start deliveries. If you decide to take your bull home within three
days of the sale, we will give you $100 off your bull. Free keep and free
delivery do not apply to the females in the sale.
Terms of Sale
Settlement is to be made on sale day. Cattle will not be released until pay-
ment is received. All registered animals will be transferred.
Liability
The Chad and Julie Ellingson family assumes no liability for accidents or
injuries that occur on the sale premises.
