Y comes from the SRS R4 cow that we picked a couple years ago. The R4 cow is as easy
keeping as they come. The Hoosier bull totally impressed us with his condition even into
his old age when we aquired him from Mike Traxinger. He was amazingly sound on his

This female highlights our pen of bred heifers. We purchased her mother U780 as the high
selling heifer in this same sale in 2010. That is the best investment that we have made yet.
U780 has completely impressed us from the start. We flushed her after seeing her second
calf, this heifer, hit the ground. All of her calves are thick and stout. We would NEVER sell
this heifer without having those flush daughters in our open pen this fall. 180Y is Homo
