Consigned by Darold Newman: “General has
spent most of his life on Governor Matt Mead’s
Ranch as a working cow horse. He has been a
great addition to our ranch and is suited for any
level rider. He has been used from trail riding in
the mountains with family & friends, to all sorts of
ranch work. He is also a member of our sheriff’s
dept. Mounted Patrol. He would make a great
lady’s or 4H horse, but will do a full day’s job
for anyone. He is the first one up to you, loves
people, is easy to load, shoe, and is ready to haul any direction you
want to go. We have halter broke colts off him & roped off him, and he
stays calm in any situation we have put him in.“

Consigned by Houck Horse Company: “Smokey is the kindest, gentlest,
soft eyed horse that you will ever meet. He is a people horse and loves
attention. He is not big but he has a huge heart. Smokey is extremely broke
and has a ton of athletic ability. He is fun to sort on and is great working
in the pastures. He does everything gracefully, quietly and without getting
rattled. I have no worries when our 5-yr-old daughter wants to sit on or
play with him; he is such a gentleman. This is a horse that anybody can
enjoy and everybody should have one like him. He is a very pretty color
and is top notch bred. For more information please call 612-810-5455.”
