This is a Reznicek Farms
cow family that was in their
herd since 1952, the year
they got into the registered Angus business. Humbling.
The 546-legacy dam came with the rest of Reznicek Angus
cows to Cow Creek Ranch in the early 1990s. This cow fam-
ily has been preserved, not because of the legacy it bears,
but, because they’ve earned their keep and have with-
stood the test of time.We pictured 546M7, lot 194, a 9-
year-old cow out of first generation dam that tells the
story better than words. The 546 cow family is a salute to
the influence of the Reznicek Angus cow herd in the Cow
Creek Ranch program.
