It is with great pleasure for us to be working with
Chestnut Angus Farm this year on their 15th Annual
Production Sale. The Glenn & Sherri Johnson family, along
with their guest breeders the Raatz family, have assembled
an outstanding set of cattle for your appraisal. Both of
these families strive to produce cattle that are high quality,
useful and will stand the test of time. This is truly a deep
offering of cattle and the sale is highlighted by Chestnut
Angus’ National Western Stock Show Carload of Bulls. All
of these bulls as well as the rest in the sale are high quality,
functional bulls with loads of predictable genetics bred into
them. This sale offering is a diverse group of bulls that
will work in many different breeding programs, from high
performing, growthy Angus and Simmental bulls, to calving
ease, maternal cow-making bulls. There is also a terrific
group of females in this year’s sale. This set of breeding
age females are ready to go to work in the pasture as well
as a group of outstanding fancy show heifer prospects that
would make great junior projects and herd builders.
There is great opportunity in the cattle business with
record low cow inventory, so now is the time to add
top-notch genetics to your program. The cattle on this
sale are backed by families that make their living in the
cattle business and are prepared to be your seedstock
provider for years to come. We invite you to come to
Pipestone on February, 27th to appraise an outstanding
sale offering. If you have any questions about the sale
cattle, please contact the breeders, any of us at EE Inc. or
sale representatives. We are happy to assist you in any way
we can.
Sincerely,
Eberspacher Enterprises Inc.

As I am sitting down to write this letter, I realize that life is a roller coaster ride. One day you are
on top of the world and the next day, at the bottom. It makes you stop and think what is important in
life: family, friends and health. You have to make each and every day count, make a difference in the
world. With that said, I am here to tell you that my customers, family and friends are very important – I
would not have the business I have without all of you! I strive to be honest and sincere with each and
every customer, maybe sometimes a little too truthful.
Looking over my years of raising cattle, I see how things have changed. At the Black Hills
Stock Show I always take time to look at all the champions on the wall. From the photos I can see
how over the years the cattle have changed from being so extreme to moderate thick and deep. You
know, change is good. With that said, I see the future of the cattle business is very promising, with
great prices and exciting new genetics.
The set of cattle we have put together for you is evidence of this progression in the Angus
breed. I feel this set of bulls are deeper than ever, with 90% coming from AI sires.
I am thankful for everything that my friends in the industry have taught me; the best knowledge
is gathered from the experience of others and applied to your own management. The time on
the phone and the tires on the road driving to sales and cattle show have impacted my breeding
decisions. I pride myself in breeding better cattle for you so you can benefit from the knowledge I
have gathered.
The calving season has started. I get so excited. It is like Christmas to me. I can’t wait to see
what is coming out of the packages we have put together. It is a great feeling to see that all your hard
work and research has paid off in such a tiny package. The future is bright!
Thank you all once again for taking the time to view our cattle. If you have any questions, don’t
be afraid to call. That’s what we are here for.
In Memory of Mom
and Grandma.
We miss you!
June Johnson
