Welcome to our 40th Annual
“Progress Thru Performance” Bull Sale.
We are extremely proud of this offering
of bulls. As we continue to fine tune our
balanced trait cowherd, we have seen a
real measured improvement in the carcass
traits our cattle are expressing. The ribeye
measurements on our fall bulls have
always been excellent for the development
program they are on. The noticeable
improvement we are really starting to see
is in the marbling scores this set of bull’s
exhibit, while still maintaining very minimal
fat covering. We are also very pleased with
the overall capacity and volume we are
starting to see develop within our heifers
and bulls. You can see this in the offspring
of a number of sires we have been using,
but it is especially apparent in the Cherry
Crk Higher Standard progeny.
It is our belief that Fall bulls are
the ideal age and maturity for breeding
conditions that are less than ideal. They
require less maintenance and will breed a
larger volume of females on their first turn
out, when compared to yearling bulls. As
you look through the catalog please let us
