All animals 12 months of age, or older, are guaranteed to be
breeders provided that they do not fail to breed due to:
1) Disease, or injury, occurring after purchase.
2) In case of bulls being run with the herd prior
to 14 months of age.
Females sold as bred, or safe in calf, are guaranteed. Females
sold as served, or pasture bred, are believed to be bred, but
are not so guaranteed. Females sold as open are so
guaranteed. All claims for adjustments, or refunds, must be
made in writing either within six months of the date of sale,
or no later than six months after the animal reaches 18
months of age. Cows with calves at side are presumed to be
breeders with no further fertility guarantee. In addition,
Cagwin Farms will guarantee the open heifers to breed; if
there is a problem, Cagwin Farms would want the female to
come back to Cagwin Farms to breed. The exception will be
open heifers that have been transplanted.
