BYERGO
&
Bull Cow Sale
Est.
1950
Forrest Byergo had a great vision when he founded Byergo Angus Farms 63 years ago. Today, he has had the unique op-
portunity to observe four generations of his family carrying on this historic pioneer Angus herd. The Byergo herd was built
on a solid and sound foundation with commercial cattlemen in mind.
I was recently at the Byergo Angus Farm and, believe me, the 2013 offering is the best ever, bulls with pounds, growth,
combining calving ease and low maintenance, the structure that has built the Byergo program. If you are searching for a bull
or bulls that have that Aberdeen look of meat and muscle that will sire calves that will have that extra poundage, the kind that
will arrive into this world trouble-free, this sale is for you. There will be many half and three-quarter brothers that sell. Every
bull that is selling has a dam, grandam and great-grandam that is in the Byergo herd and most of them will go back 15 to 18
generations of Byergo breeding.
A special feature of this year’s sale will be over 200 Angus commercial females that will sell, spring bred females, fall bred
females and heifer calves. They are sired by Byergo bulls and they are bred to Byergo bulls. They come from leading custom-
ers who for generations have used Byergo Angus bulls over the past 63 years.
For the past 63 years the Byergo Family has been dedicated and devoted to the Angus breed. Make plans now to be on
hand for this sale on February 17, 2013. You won’t be disappointed.
Sincerely,
Tom Burke
