The Lot 29 Bushs Super Natural son is well put together with a good
balance of thickness and depth of rib. The sire is out of our top-
producing cow, whose current son is Lot 28. His dam, a daughter of
Bushs Focus 603, is super feminine, and like all Focus 603 females,
has a perfect udder and teat size. A lot of maternal in this sale lot!

In the “Contagious” bull we have a Frontman son that is clearly ahead
of the rest for quality, rib depth, and sheer bulk. This lot is most
striking for his overall body dimension. He is extremely strong
maternally and that comes from both the sire and dam. His rank is
at 3% in the breed. His dam is 5% and the Frontman sire is at 4%.
Sure his maternal is great, but his growth traits are also impressive.
Only an 80 lb. birth weight that spurted into the 808 lbs., ratio 111
weaning data. True, he probably isn’t a pure calving-ease prospect,
but rest assured that he will hold down the birth weights while
adding to the growth weights. The grandam, the 3679 cow, has
become one of our Grand Design daughters that has just plain got it
done. Her progeny, all heifers, have averaged 110 for both weaning
and yearling. Five of those six females reside in our herd. This bull
should be sought after by those needing a lid on birth weights,
more body in their cattle, added milk, and accelerated growth.
