Welcome to the Bruns Red Angus Production Offering!
It is a privilege for me to be Sale Manager and Auctioneer of the first ever
Bruns Red Angus Auction. When I think of Bruns Red Angus cattle one thing
definitely pops into my mind – efficiency. These cattle are moderate framed, full
bodied and easy doing on very minimal inputs. With current feed and
commodities prices, Red Angus cattle and particularly Bruns Red Angus cattle,
should be on the forefront of every cattle producers mind. We will be selling in
catalog order and the first 20 bulls are “age advantaged 2-year-olds ” and will
service extra cows and heifers giving you more bang-for-your-buck. Following
the 2-year-olds are an outstanding set of 27 yearling bulls, aggressive and ready to
go to work this spring and summer. They represent the newest genetics offered by
Bruns Red Angus. In the female division, Lots 48 – 57 are spring calving heifers
that offer you a quick return on your investment, followed by seven sensational
fall calving females that will make tremendous brood cows. If you desire cattle
that flesh easily on very minimal inputs and have loads of fertility, calving ease,
motherabilty and carcass traits, be in the seats Tuesday March 26th in Creighton,
Nebraska.
With a first time auction comes lots of buyer opportunities for bargains and
cattle not bringing what they might in years to come. You really don’t want to
miss this first-time-event for some really good, moderate framed, stout made, Red
Angus cattle! If you cannot attend, please feel free to give me a call for an
unbiased opinion on the cattle. I will be glad to go through the cattle with you by
phone and tell you “like I see them.” You may also bid and buy online via
DVAuction or you can place bids with me or any of the ringmen listed in this
catalog. In any manner you want to purchase, we will treat your bids in complete

Will be available sale day.
Guarantee
All bulls are guaranteed breeders and are
guaranteed healthy on sale day. They will have
passed a semen test and breeding soundness
exam. Scrotal measurements will be available
sale day. Bulls are guaranteed to be breeders
during the first breeding season. Breeding season
is defined as the 90-day period following the
first turn out of the bulls. Broken bones will not
be covered under this guarantee. Bruns Red
Angus will work with customers on a case-by-
case basis concerning guarantees.
Delivery and Load-out
We are offering free delivery within 100 miles of
our ranch. Delivery elsewhere in the state of
Nebraska and to other states will be at the lowest
cost possible from the sellers base operation.
Any state animal testing requirements will be at
the expense of the buyer. Bulls not delivered by
April 15 will incur a $3-per-day feeding cost
thereafter. A $50 credit will be offered for bulls
taken home on sale day.
Osteopetrosis Testing
All bulls either have no OS carrier in their
pedigree or are tested free of OS.
