Welcome to Bieber Fever III.
Every year as we develop the offering, it is tough to decide
how many and what to sell. Market fundamentals tell us
that the national cow herd is the smallest it has been in 50
years, so we felt it was time to launch an offering of supe-
rior commercial females. For the first time ever, we are of-
fering 480 commercial females. These females are backed
by our reputation and the reputation of the consignors. We
purchased a group of heifers last winter and calved them
this spring to be able to offer a large group of coming three-
year-old Red Angus cows. We have also coordinated with
several good bull customers to offer some bred heifers in
this sale.
We are also offering a group of registered bred heifers and
bred cows. These bred heifers are a select group bred to
our leading herd sires. As we do every sale, we offer a
complete dispersal of an age group of registered cows.
Some of these cows are the core cows that we purchased in
the Basin acquisition. We have flushed several cows in this
offering. For anyone interested in adding some top cows to
their herd, here’s a great opportunity.
Don’t forget about two-year-old Red Angus bulls. This
group has done as well on grass as any we have had in
past years. The bulls are very impressive with several
great herd bull prospects in the offering. Video of all the of-
fering will be available through our website by November
15
th.
The time to invest in the fastest growing breed in the USA is
now. Our program has proven that we can offer any buyer
plenty of opportunity to move a program forward.
As many of you know, we run video rather than bring the
cattle through a sale ring. It has worked very well; there-
fore, video of each lot will be shown as that lot sells. The
cattle will be displayed as usual, and we will be available
to visit with you about any animal in the offering. We be-
lieve that this technique is both easier on the cattle and the
help, and keeps the sale running smoothly.
