We have had a few of our longtime customers inquire about SimAngus
genetics so here they are. Bar S Pride 5036 was flushed Simmental a
couple of times and we also A.I.ed a few older proven cows Simmy for
the start of this program. We have a select few SimAngus females in
production and they seem to be fitting our environment well. Using a
½ Simmy ½ Angus bull on 100% British cows adds some punch and
power but still keeps the Continental influence and milk toned down
enough that they will still work in a low input situation.

This year we are not only offering the front end of Bar S Ranch’s commercial heifers, but will
also sell some fancy heifers from the heart of several of our commercial customer’s programs. These heif-
ers offer a great opportunity to acquire top performing females with tremendous carcass producing poten-
tial. Selling in groups of 5-10 head.

Offering 60 head of sire identified open Angus heifers by the Bar S Herd Bull battery as well
as several A.I. sires. They are OCV’ed, wormed, poured, and have had 2 rounds of Vista-
Once PMH, and blackleg. They sell with free semen on any Bar S owned herdsire.
10 head of “Smoky” F1 Charolais x Angus open heifers. They are OCV’ed, wormed, poured,
and have had 2 rounds of VistaOnce PMH and Blackleg. They sell with free semen on any
Bar S owned herdsire.

Offering 70 head of commercial open Angus heifers sired by Bar S Frontpage and Hotline
sons. Brad’s cowherd is stacked with daughters of Bar S Freightliner 1557, which Bar S has
used A.I. after observing the performance and popularity of Miller Ranch’s calves at the Bar
S Influence Special Calf Sales the past few years. These females are OCV’ed & poured.
