Dear Friends:
Faith, Family, Friends and Financial Stability must be carefully balanced in
each of our lives to be successful.
Our family has made a living from cows for over 100 years and 5 genera-
tions (6 with Grady, Ethan and Jayce). Our history has taught us that what seems
to be progress in the short-run can sometimes be negative in the long-run. When
we line-breed for specific genetic traits based on popular magazine articles and
lose sight of the traits that maintain a financially sustainable cowherd, we can take
steps backward.
Whether it is our lives or our cowherds, history shows that Balance is the
key to success.
For the 4th straight year our Charolais Pen of bulls and heifers came home
from Denver with Grand Champion banners. We are gratified that others appreci-
ated these moderate framed, super-thick cattle.
We once again are videoing all of the sale cattle and they will be sold by live
auctioneer off of video on sale day. As always all cattle will be displayed live in
pens on sale day for your evaluation. All videos will be posted prior to the sale on
our website at

We invite you to come and look. We think you will want to take one or
more home with you. There will also be a large selection of commercial heifers in
the sale this year.
