Welcome to the 2nd American Black Hereford Association's "NATIONAL BLACK HEREFORD HEIFER SALE".
The heifers in this sale have been selected from the top of the herds from which they came. Many are in the sale only
because the consignors wanted to offer the best in their herds in an effort to expand the Black Hereford base to more breed-
ers.
The Black Hereford breed demonstrates improvement with each generation as its breeders continue to cull their herds,
retaining only cattle with better performance while at the same time having the added benefit of the docility of the Hereford
breed. Black Hereford breeders are seeking cattle with maternal performance with sound udders along with their search for
carcass quality. Our motto is “Color You Can Count On”; it is a proven fact that "black hided" cattle are worth from $5 to $15
per hundred more than red hided cattle. Black Herefords will provide more dollars per pound!
Terms
:
1. All sale cattle are registered in the ABHA. All purchases include registration papers and transfers.
2. All open heifers have been weaned and vaccinated at least 45 days prior to the sale.
3. All bred heifers have been preg checked at home by the seller and are safe in calf unless otherwise stated from the
auction block.
4. All representations and guarantees are those made by the seller and not the responsibility of the ABHA.
5. Payment is at the time of purchase. Checks should be made to the American Black Hereford Association.
6. Please no loading out until after the sale. Clerks will provide load out papers after settlement.
