Herd Health:
The bulls have been vaccinated with Express 5 and Vision
Somnus at branding, and Express 5 PHM, Vision Somnus and
Vetrimec Pour-On at weaning, and have been tested and are
ready for interstate shipment.
Semen Evaluation:
All bulls will be officially semen tested by Dr. Chris Finney of the
Ainsworth Veterinary Clinic. This test includes semen analysis
for vigor, concentrations, morphology and percentage lives as
well as examination for physical defects such as abnormal
testicles and warts. Scrotal circumferences were taken at this
time. Any unsatisfactory bulls are eliminated from the sale
offering. Scrotal measurements available sale day.
Free Delivery:
Arlen Sawyer will make delivery arrangements and will assist
with the care of the bulls prior to delivery.
Inspection of the Bulls:
Bulls may be viewed at A&B Cattle, the Arlen and Becky
Sawyer ranch headquarters, seven miles south of Bassett,
Nebr. on Hwy. 183 at your convenience.
Lot Numbers:
Lot numbers on the bulls correspond with the numbers in the
catalog. Most bulls also carry their herd tags.
Performance Information:
All printed EPDs in this catalog are the current 2013 EPDs as of
Feb. 14, 2013. The top 10% of the bulls have genomic profiles
which are incorporated in their updated EPDs available on the
website or sale day. Ultrasound data, scrotal measurements
and updated EPDs available sale day or prior to the sale on
the website.
Liabilities:
All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk, and the
owner and his agents assume no liability, legal or otherwise,
for any accidents which may occur.
Terms:
These cattle sell under the suggested Terms and Conditions of
the American Angus Association which briefly state: Terms of
the sale are cash unless satisfactory credit arrangements have
been made prior to the sale. The auctioneer will settle all
disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be
final. Each animal will be at purchaser's risk as soon as sold.
Guarantee:
All bulls of breeding age are guaranteed as breeders. If the
animal proves a non-breeder, a satisfactory exchange will be
made, or credit will be given in the next sale. Buyer must
contact A&B before Sept. 1, 2013 if the bull is unsatisfactory.
