Dear Friends,
We look forward to hosting our 23nd annual A & B Cattle bull sale
once again on the first Thursday in April. One of the true pleasures of
our lives has been dealing with good cattlemen like yourself. We are
truly humbled and pleased by the continued patronage of repeat
customers.
During the past 38 years of raising registered Angus cattle, we’ve
remained committed to a plan of raising cattle with practical perfor-
mance that can compete vigorously from calving to harvest. It re-
mains our goal to improve our Angus genetics so that our customers can raise profitable, high quality
cattle.
This past year has certainly been challenging, testing even the best operators. Quality genetics have
had an even greater impact on the bottom line this past year, with the choice - select spread growing
even wider and black-hided reputation cattle bringing top dollar at area livestock markets. With the
decreased beef cow numbers nationwide, the future is bright for those of us that can survive the trials
of mother nature.
We greatly appreciate your business and consideration of our breeding program. We realize you have
lots of choices on where to select your bulls, so please feel free to stop by anytime to see our bulls and
compare. Please come early sale day to enjoy our annual rib-eye sandwich
lunch and fellowship with other cattlemen.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our friends and neighbors, Todd
Norton, Gary Malmberg, Joe Andrews, and Hannah Schmitz for all their help
in preparing for this annual auction. Special thanks to our local veterinarian
Chris Finney, local feed dealers, and AI techs and reps that help us through-
out the year as well. Special thanks to Jessica and Adam who also take time
from their busy schedules to help out sale week as well. We appreciate
everyone!
