Dear Friends and Customers,
2014 has proven to be an outstanding year for ranchers and cattlemen. Record prices for all phases of the
cattle industry, cheaper feed and cheaper fuel have all contributed to the added profitability. Somebody said the
other day “It is finally fun to be in the cattle business again.” We’ve always thought it was fun. T0 be able to choose
our way of life, make our own management choices and to deal with the best people on the planet, it’s always fun!
We are honored to be listed on Beef Magazine’s Seedstock Top 100 list (a list of the top bull producers in the
country). We also realize, being on this list is a huge responsibility. Our bulls have a huge impact on our customers
cow herds and their bottom lines and we take this very seriously. We utilize all the tools available to us to make
better decisions and produce better seedstock for our customers.
We feel the bulls in this sale represent just that - better seedstock. There is a wide variety of bloodlines in each
beed that provide selection choices for better bulls in specific traits. We have tried to use what we consider the top
bulls in every breed to better benefit you - our customers. We are in constant search of new genetics and will do
whatever is possible to utilize them.
If there is anything we can do to assist you in your bull selection process, please let us know. We offer sight
unseen purchasing, volume discounts and the sale will again be broadcast on DV Auction. This year we will also
be videoing the bulls and the videos should be available around April 1. You are welcome to stop by the ranch and
inspect the bulls at anytime.
We invite you to join us April 14th for our 43rd Annual Sale. Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 and the sale
