calf Heifer pairs FOB from our sale facility
- We expect 20 pairs in the first group of fancy
commercial 1st calf heifer pairs. This group will be on display at our sale facility on sale day and will sell F.O.B. from
there. Right from the heart of our commercial bred heifer program, the first calves started arriving on Feb. 15. They will
be sorted into smaller groups according to the sex and age of calf. Bull calves were banded at birth.

calf Heifer pairs FOB from Ashland, KS
- We expect 30 pairs in this second group of 1st calf heifer
pairs. Offered by friend and customer, Dr. Travis McCarty (620-635-0728), the pairs will sell F.O.B. Ashland, KS. These
are Mushrush Red Angus influenced heifers with 15 Mushrush Impressive U236 (ref. sire J) and 15 natural service to a
son of Mushrush Trojan X332 (ref. sire N) calves at side. They will be sorted into 4 groups according to the sex and age
of calf. Like all the cattle in this sale, these heifers have had an excellent health protocol. Bull calves were banded at
birth.
Commercial Bred Fall heifers
– We expect around 20 head in this group of fancy Fall bred heifers. Exact number will
be determined at preg check after the catalog has gone to print. These Fall born heifers are bred to calve as two year olds
this fall. They were synchronized and A.I. to Mushrush Red Angus herd sires on November 25, 2014. They were then
exposed to natural service herd sires, Mushrush Julian84S Z360 (ref. sire U) and Mushrush Nebula A125 (ref. sire B),
until Jan. 29, 2014. First calves will arrive around September 1st. These heifers will sell in small groups sorted for frame
size and expected calving date.
Commercial Bred Fall heifers
– We are expecting around 25 head in this group of older, Fall calving heifers. These
heifers pregged open after a short 45 day summer breeding season. We synchronized and A.I. bred them to Mushrush
Impressive CA U236 (ref. sire J) or Beckton Cody T083 ( ref. sire H) on Nov. 28, 2014. They were then exposed to
Mushrush Lunesta Y097 (ref. sire O) and Beckton Epic Z375 J6 for 45 days. They will be sorted into smaller groups by
calving date. They will calve as 2 ½ year olds.
