Sale Terms and Conditions
Cattle will sell under the Standard terms and
conditions as recommended by the Red Angus
Association of America. Settlements are to be made
with the clerk immediately after the conclusion of the
auction. Anyone attending this sale does so at their
own risk.
Health
All bulls are coming virgin two year olds that have
been semen and trich tested so they can go out of state
on sale day.
Fertility Testing
All bulls tested for breeding soundness by Justin
Ward, DVM, Larsen Veterinary Services, Valentine
NE 402-376-1571.
Breeding Guarantee
All bulls selling have passed a Breeding Soundness
Exam and Semen Test. Bulls selling at $2500 or more
are guaranteed through the first breeding season
defined as 60 days following 1st turnout. If a fertility
problem occurs preventing the bull to perform as
a breeder, a replacement bull of similar value will
be provided if available. If a suitable replacement is
not available, credit for the full purchased price, less
salvage value, will be issued to the buyer for next
year’s sale. Any problems with the bulls must be
reported in the 60 day breeding season. The guarantee
is under the discretion of Ravenscroft Red Angus
and bulls may not be covered if inhuman practices or
negligence are present whether directly or indirectly
related to the injury.
Delivery
We offer free delivery of bulls following the sale, up to
200 miles, and beyond at cost.
Discount
Bulls picked up and paid for the day of sale will
receive a $100 discount
Announcements
Announcements made sale day and from the auction
block during the sale take precedence over printed
material in the catalog.
